“What's the benefit of a caricature?”
It brings a fascination and gathers a crowd to its irresistible magic. It complements and adds variety to your event, puts your guests at ease, and gives them a humorous keepsake.
“Who are potential caricature subjects?”
Just about anyone. The budget, the length of the event, and you determine who and what can be drawn.
“What is Caricatures At Events?”
It's a drawing done "live" at various sites; a big head/little body is drawn, which always includes the subject in a situation of his/her choice, from "Super-Hero" to "Broadway Star."
"What is Caricatures From Photos?”
It's a detailed drawing done from client's photos, at Paul's office. You and Paul will discuss your desires. He will submit a sketch, adding his special humor, for your approval. It will then be colored and sent to you, no matter how far away you are. It can be framed and autographed by friends or colleagues.
“Will you make my big ears even funnier?”
Paul is tuned-in to your sensitivities. He will create a humorous likeness, yet the likeness is "humane."
“How fast do you draw?”
“How does your pricing work?”
For "Caricatures At Events," pricing is based upon an hourly rate, which begins at $120 per hour. It can also depend on where the event is held, whether you will want Paul to stay longer than the scheduled duration, and other factors. Traveling time may apply, depending on the event location. First-time clients pay a one-third deposit. Please see the "Hiring Paul" tabbed page, or communicate directly with him, for more detailed answers to your questions.
For "Caricatures From Photos," the fee depends on the drawing's complexity, ie. montage (multi-element drawing). By e-mailing or calling Paul, a project estimate can be given.
“How far will you travel?”
Paul will travel throughout Greater New York City, Long Island, Westchester county, lower Connecticut, eastern New Jersey and the Mid-Hudson Valley.
